Woman/doctors-please Explain What Is Going On My Private Area?

O.k I’ve noticed some throbbing near my opening and its burning a little, it feels uncomfortable it’s only a bit itchy and I have a slimy mucus (not thick) which is kind beige in color and a bit pink also.I’m not sure if it’s thrush or more serious, I was taking antibiotics for UTI but that is cleared and now I have this problem.

It definitely sounds like you have a yeast infection. When a person takes antibiotics to kill bad cells, it kills the good ones too. Which in turn gives you a yeast infection. Honestly your symptoms sound very much like a yeast infection..
Go to the doctors or by a cream called canestan. If you have never had a yeast infection, get it confirmed by your doctor. Something that has helped me is taking a cold wet cloth, laying it in a dry towel and applying it in between my legs for comfort. Then I remove it and place the dry towel there. I would think that you have a yeast infection. This happens often when you take antibiotics, because they’re not targeted. They kill ALL the bacteria, including the good kind in your vagina. I would get an over the counter yeast infection cream such as Monistat and use that.
