like if i used the insurance, would my parents get an email or something?
or does it just show up on the bill?

some offices send out a letter stating that they billed X amount of dollars to insurance. I don’t know of insurances that send our e-mails, and I can’t imagine a dr’s office would, only if you asked. Are you an adult or a minor – because that would make a difference too?
Assuming you’re an adult – insurance will send EOB’s to the address they have on file and the Dr’s office will send you a bill to the address they have on file.
if that doesn’ answer your question – i’m not quite sure what you’re asking…
