My mom is a doctor and she say you can’t hide info from your parents because you aren’t an adult yet.

If the teen specifically tells the doctor they don’t want their parents knowing, the doctor can’t tell the parents unless it’s life-threatening, pertinent to the parents giving informed consent to a medical treatment (like if the condition requires surgery, the parents have to consent to the surgery, so they’d have to know why the teen is having surgery in order to give informed consent), or indicates some sort of abuse.
In other words, if you’re pregnant, and tell your doctor not to tell your parents, the doctor can’t tell your parents. The exception would be if, say, it was an ectopic pregnancy and you had to be taken to the hospital, your parents would have to sign papers so you could get the necessary medical procedures to terminate the pregnancy (cause it WILL die and WILL kill the mother otherwise) and repair any internal damage that may have occurred.
BUT – and there’s one big ‘but’ here – if you get ANY medical procedures, prescriptions, etc, on your parents’ insurance, since it’s their insurance, they can and will see it on their next insurance statement.

I would assume that it’s private, just like if you asked for somebody else’s profile. It’s your own, I believe.
It might just depend on how old you are, also. Maybe if you were under 18, then they could share the profile. I would just ask them if they can keep it private. Or, look it up.
Good luck,

If you are a minor, in some states your parents have rights to. Check your state law and your doctor’s policies.
If you’re pregnant though, they’re bound to notice anyway.

Yes. It’s doctor- patient confidentiality. Unless it’s a life threatening situation

no, like if you were going to see a gynocologist, they cannot tell your parents anything unless you say it’s okay.

No, unless it could put you or someone else in harm. They can’t tell them if you are having sex, even if they asked.
