ALL insurance companies are horrible! I’m so sorry to be negative, but I have never seen anything like it. They are all the same. Greedy conglomerate a$$faces.
Unfortunately, anyone that you go with is going to try and screw you any way they can, even if you are healthy.
    BC/BS is the worst!!!!!

If they don’t do what the policy says they will, you file a complaint in writing to the state insurance commissioner, and they will make sure the policy terms are enforced.
Blue Cross has been the BEST, in my experience.
But, also in my experience, when people have problems with claims, it’s usually one of the following issues:
    1. They lied on the application about a preexisting condition, and are trying to foist it off on the insurance company anyway
    2. They didn’t read what they were buying, and took mom/grandma/friend’s word for what was covered.
Whatever the problem is, it’s most likely one of these two issues . . . and a new insurance company isn’t going to fix that. If you need help understanding coverages BEFORE you buy your policy, you probably should use a local agent, rather than doing “do it yourself” coverage over the internet.

No, I am not aware of “ANY companies like this”. As far as I know, there are none “that will provide the services that you need, which they advertised, every time you need them.”
Do not say that “and they are a PAIN in my a.$.$.”. If you do, and later need treatment for rectal cancer, then they will say that it is a preexisting condition based on your admission here to having symptoms (*** pain) resulting from the rectal cancer, and will refuse to cover it. Ok, that’s a joke.
