A medical job is always worth considering, from nurses and consultants right down to hospital cleaning crews. However if it turns out that this career is not for you, check out the site below which shows you how to earn cash from Google. I’ve been doing it for three months now and just left my daytime job last week!!

The future for medical transcriptionists is bright. According to the U.S. Department of Labor it will grow by 16% between now and 2016. Almost all medical transcriptionists who work for national medical transcription services work from home. Most large hospitals and clinics contract their medical transcription department to these services. I, myself, work for one of these services. The company I work for is located in one state and I am located in another. The hospitals I transcribe for are in several states, many, many miles away from where I live. The dictation voice files are sent over an ecrypted, secure internet connection and the transcribed files are transferred to the hospital in the same way. Because of the lack of qualified MTs in the U.S, some companies are offshoring their transcription to India, Phillipines and other foreign countries. This concerns me as MTs outside this country are not bound by privacy laws.

Due to current U.S. state laws governing patient privacy and especially medical recordkeeping, there are no off-site, online, at-home medical transcription jobs at all. Anyone soliciting for such services are very likely scammers.
Good luck!
