What Is The Best Private Medical Insurance Company To Use?

My husbands insurance through his job is outrageous, does anyone know of any good insurance companies I could check into ,to see if its any cheaper?

    See if your husband can talk to his employer about running different rates for their health insurance. If they pick higher deductible plan, higher copay, or higher Rx it will lower your premium significantly. I also like Horizon the best, but it all depends on what you are looking for.

    Try Blue Cross & Blue Shield

    I also suggest Blue Cross and Blue Shield. The main thing is to choose a company that has many doctors in your area. Even Blue Cross will be a poor choice if the doctors in your area do not accept it. Try asking some doctors (or their office managers) in your area which plans give them the least trouble. That is what I did, and my choice was Blue Cross.
