A huge impact.
One reason that American health care is the most expensive in the world is because we have the most advanced equipment. We also treat more people than any other nation–including illegal aliens and other indigents.
Regardless of what anyone else might claim, American health care is the best in the world. And you can judge that by the number of world leaders who come to the US for care.
All of this, however, will change, if the government nationalizes the health care industry. If that happens, we’ll have no better care than any other socialist nation–which will suck most for the poor.
