A common misconception is that universal health care means that the government becomes the sole provider of health care coverage. This simply isn’t true. What is being proposed is that the government offers health insurance that competes with the private sector. The goal of this is to force, by way of competition, health insurance companies, pharmaceuticals, etc… to lower cost. YOU CAN KEEP YOUR PRIVATE INSURANCE! This isn’t simply an Obama/Democrat goal as it has bi-partisan support.

You can’t be serious. You think that private insurance DOES NOT MAKE YOUR CHOICES NOW??
Not only do they make your decisions and have for years.. they are making those choices based on PROFIT.
At this point.. yeah. I would RATHER turn it over to the govt.
The ONLY DAMN reason all this stuff is being planted and passed around.. is that the private companies don’t want to let go of a profitable monopoly.

Yes I would, and if I could get the SAME health care the senator and congress and all the other politicians get for a 1000. 00 dollars a YEAR I’d do that to. But insurance want to charge my family 900.00 a MONTH for coverage. What ‘s going on here is who you are and n ot what you can afford.

Yes I vote for my Representatives in the government and feel more comfortable with them than I do with a PRIVATE PROFIT company.

No. I’d much rather keep them in the hands of rich capitalists whose real goal is to milk me for all I’m worth.
