It seems to me that this book is an attempt to corner the profitable “diet book” market, and while doing so encourage the readers to also purchase their even more expensive diet pills. If you already have these pills, then like the others have said, you really don’t need this book. If you don’t have the pills or the book, I would highly recommend that you don’t waste your money on either. The pills are actually just an expensive way to give yourself explosive diarrhea, if you haven’t already heard about this…Just Google the words (Alli the diarrhea diet) and see what you get.

I can’t review a product I never received. Needless to say, I’m very disappointed. I now feel hesitant on ordering anything online.

Even though the pills did nothing for me, the recipes are pretty good in this book and I do use some of them.

I thought it gave a detailed explanation of how to use the alli pills and explained how to take the pills with the right amount of food with fat grams in order to lose weight. The only problem was supplying the house with the right type of foods and their shopping list on their website did not have the right ingredients for their meal plan. It was just a little too complicated with the food and meal plan but the pills worked good as far as getting rid of the fat as waste. You found yourself on the toilet a lot. Heaven forbid about the treatment effects and getting those from eating too many fat grams in your meals.

I purchased this book as a cookbook. I am so absolutely delighted with these recipes, that I can’t say enough here. I have purchased hundreds of dollars of cookbooks that I felt would fill the bill: Easy, gourmet and usual ingredients and to date, this is the ONLY one that has met my expectations.

My husband and my children have loved every recipe I have made thus far. Wonderful use of spices…amazing results. I am even having company this weekend and plan to use every recipe from the book. We are world travelers and eat at the finest restaurants. I only wish this author had more recipes. This weekend we are serving Seafood Salad, Seafood au Grain and Key Lime Pie…all wonderful, low fat and healthier versions from our past. Thank you so much. Please create a follow up cookbook! (I am not on the Alli diet)
