Its cost approx £80,000 to train a Doctor through NHS and I’m sure to train a soldier is more expensive than that.
After training lots of Doctors leave the NHS and work in Private Hospitals which is costing the NHS not only training cost but cancelled operations and the hiring of overpaid temp staff from other countries. Which in addition get low cost accommodation in sought after areas. Wider implications incredible.
Soldiers can leave the Army and work Privately earning in a month what they were earning in a year in the Army.
Should there be a minimum period of service after training to ensure the tax payer gets value for money?

Where are these high paid mercenary jobs– Iraq? Afghanistan? No soldier should pay to serve his nation and risk his life. Besides a mercenary is paid for his years of experience not strictly for training completed
