They can afford to WASTE money here.
Besides, the government is NOT trying to setup socialized medicine.
THE ONLY THING THE GOVERNMENT WANTS TO DO IS AD AN OPTION FOR NON-PROFIT INSURANCE FOR THE POOR & UNEMPLOYED.
HOW WILL THEY PAY FOR IT? DRUG DISCOUNTS, CONCENTRATING ON PREVENTATIVE CARE, ELIMINATING WASTE & LOCKING UP PEOPLE WHO COMMITT FRAUD!
Anyone tells you anything more than that is LYING.

Because THEY have Canadian-style medical insurance right here at home. It’s WE who do not have access to this kind of medical care here where the rest of us all have to live. They pay nothing, no deductibles, no out-of-pocket, no limits.
Why? Because they’re “better” than we are.
    Makes me “sick”…

Because Canadian born and educated doctors head to the US. They make MORE money in the US, but this leaves Canada with less doctors. Canada caps their income. I know, I know, “that’s dumb”…but healthcare is about, well, healthcare in Canada. In the US it’s just another industry.

Because they can’t. Only permanent residents of Canada (citizens or not) have a right to our health care. The members of your congress cannot go to Canada and get some health care like this and go home the next day.

    Because
[1] They have an excellent occupational health plan in the USA.
[2] They wouldn’t be eligible for treatment from the Canadian health care system as they aren’t Canadian citizens.

Because its not great, why should we, who already work hard for our own healthcare have to suffer because others do not work, sure they cannot work but we should all have financial aid if that is the case.

Because they have great insurances packages in America. Much, much better than about 95% of Americans.

As a member of congress you get an amazing health care package already. The problem here is for those that aren’t so lucky and don’t have healthcare.

Or better yet, why will they be EXEMPT from the plan they are proposing for the rest us?
