    Universal Health Care is not socialism, go look up the definition in a dictionary.
    And if you think it is try to think about these other services you pay for with your tax dollars.
    -Military
    -Law Enforcement Officers
    -Fire Fighters
    -Postal Service
    -Social Services
    -Government Employees
    -Road Repair & Construction
    -Public Transportation

    joker, its called setting up a straw man so you can defeat him. Its a tactic that simply takes your opponent’s position and paint the most extreme interpretation of it…even though your opponent has never ever advocated those extremes…and then attack that extreme position. Like you said…suddently gun control making sure there are 10 day waiting periods, background checks, bans on the mentally ill from buying, banning sales out of the trunks of cars at gun shows and the banning of assuault rifles capable of firing 25 shots in 5 seconds..etc…..are villified as being “Wanting to take away everyone’s guns”. This is how we know conservatives are really wrong…because if they were not they would not have to resort to these tactics.

    When will people realize that UHC doesn’t mean the end of private hospitals and private insurance? It just means everyone is covered no matter what.
    Rich people can still go to private hospitals where they never have to breathe the same air as poor people.

    Restrictions on guns is taking them all away
    Social programs are just helping lazy people.
    Medical reform is socialized medicine.
