    COBRA. It’s a federal law. But you will have to pay the full premium yourself and possibly a bit more. I believe you can be charged 105% of what the premium was. But it’s still cheaper than giving birth without insurance.

    You need to IMMEDIATELY sign up for the COBRA plan with the former insurance company. By law, you have the right to continue your former insurance for 24 months, at the cost of the previous employer plan. Yes it will cost you a considerable amount of money, but much less than it will cost you to have a baby without insurance.
    Call the insurance company and tell them you need the forms to apply for COBRA.
