i’m a california resident, how much do i need to pay if i got ill and go to see a doctor without any health insurance or medical care?? is there any kind of medical care services or insurance that i should apply for? i’m about to 21 years old now and i want a medical care service without spending too much money…….

Well, most Doctors will work with patients without coverage. Your best bet would be to call a local Doctor and ask what their charges are. Once you find a Doctor with a decent charge, stick with them and you will always know how much you will end up having to pay. Make sure when you go in for visits to let them know you don’t have coverage and let you know how much any tests ( like a strep throat test can cost up to 100 dollars! ) they run on you are so you can make the decision of if you can afford it or not.

Way, way too much.
It’s a shame. Being a doctor is such a noble proffession and most of them ruin it with their greed. Same goes for pretty much anybody else in the healthcare industry.

I went to see a doctor without insurance and he later sent me a bill of $590. Lab tests cost more
You can contact your human services i your state and they will advice you on what you can do to get coverage
