are there any acute care/intermediate care centers in your town?
that you can go too they are equipped to handle this type of sickness. if you have had it for two weeks i would suggest you get to one as you may be coming down with bronchitis etc. they can xray your chest and prescribe meds plus they take most all the different types of insurances out there and probally suggest a good doctor you can hook up with.

it depends what your symptoms are. “sick” is a very broad term and could mean anything…

It depends on how sick you are. If you think it’s really bad then go to the ER…(I hope your not goofing and talking about the tv show!)…..Once you go to the ER you will probably get yourself a a regular doctor and that’s probably what you need. Is there a clinic in your city that you could go to? That’s a good way to go especially if you have insurance. good luck and feel better!

I depends on whats wrong with you. if you think it is just a stomach virus or something that you need medicine for go and get it in the morning. If you don’t know what it is and you think it is serious go now. Hope i could help you

I BEG YOU AS AN ER NURSE, PLS GO TO YOUR PRIVATE DOCTOR. UNLESS YOU NEED TO BE SEEN IN AN EMERGENT SITUATION, PLS SAVE THE ER FOR YOUR SERIOUS PROBLEMS. I AM SURE THAT YOUR ER COPAY IS ATLEAST 200.00 VS THE PCP COPAY OF POSSIBLE 20-40. PLS FIND A PCP AND START TO HAVE A PLACE WHERE YOUR MEDICAL CARE CAN BE COORDINATED IN ONE PLACE. GOOD LUCK AND PLEASE USE YOUR INSURANCE WISELY SO MANY PEOPLE DON’T HAVE AND MANY CAN’T AFFORD IT. TAKE CARE

Most colds last only a week, however if your cold lasts more than two weeks, you should see a doctor. You could have a bronchial infection or worse.

go ahead and go unless you can find a md who will give you an initial appointment in the next day or so. some may wonder if it has been on-going why you chose er at this point, others may wonder why you waited. the only truly annoying ones are if you go in for a single bout of diarrhea or vomiting or some such or are obviously drug-seeking. but also find yourself a personal physician for the future…i know it can be a wait to get the initial appointment, so if think you can’t get into one soon, head on over to er.
