none of her buisness darling….this is kept until you see your doctor..reception only handles the appoinments…unless there is an emergency….no need to worry at all..just walk in….ask for a time to see the doc..or ring a head and then tell her your appoinment time and she will say…please take a seat…never tell her your medical concerns..this is none of her concern…she wont ask you anyways…it a privacy act…

Just tell her if its urgent or routine and if you want a morning or afternoon appointment and whether you want a male or female doctor. The receptionist doesn’t need to know any more than that as all consultations are private.

I didn’t think they asked anyway. Its patient – doctor privacy. If they do just say in a sheepish voice that you only want to speak to the dr about it and they’ll be fine. There job is just to give you a time slot.

no, she won’t know what you mean. they need to ask so they can budget time for the doctor.
if it’s dealing with down there, just say that you are having concerns about the genital area. that’s all you need to say.

Just tell them you have a personal problem and you don’t feel comfortable talking to anyone but the doctor they have to respect that. good luck

Never heard they ask that in my life:I call to make an appointment:they schedule me in :that’s it.
It is not her business to know.
Just call and make an appointment already.
    Regards:Sky.

Dont worry about it. if theyre receptionist they probably heard alot worse tell her either what ur seeing the dr for or just say ud rather just wait and tell the dr because its personal. and ur a little shy.

Do you really think she will really care?
They will probably not even think about it!

Its no big deal to her, you are not the only one who says it private.
