I thought I would give these a try because who can deny anything with “cookie” in its name. I was looking for something I could keep in my purse or stick in my daypack when I go hiking that doesn’t taste horribly bad. I’m not the biggest fan of protein bars. While the Oatmeal Raisin is my favorite, the Lemon and Chocolate Chip are edible. They do however; do an excellent job in eliminating those nasty little hunger pangs that pop up when you’re on go. I’m not a big breakfast eater, so I found myself having a cookie for breakfast with my tea or coffee. I always take cookies on my day hikes; it’s a great way to get the energy boost I need, and finally just always keep one in my purse for when I’m out and about and get a little hungry. Rather than grabbing a bite at a fast food joint, I can eat a cookie to hold me over until I can make my meal. I’ve lost 12.5 pounds over the summer. I mostly attribute that to my workouts and hikes, but I’d like to think, me not starving myself or hitting up Taco Bell, and just having a cookie instead had a little something to do with it. I say give them a try.

They taste pretty good. I can’t attest to the weight loss, but they taste far better than the other cookie diets.

This is a great product for those who are looking for a tasty meal on the go. They don’t really keep you full for several hours. I suggest an appetite suppressant as well. I lost 5 lbs in a week and with a shrunken stomach and decreased food intake I have kept them off for 2 weeks so far. There are better options if you have the time. I got these because I am constantly on the go and don’t have time to make small meals like oatmeal or something all day. If you have time for that I recommend it because this is unnecessarily expensive. This was great for a week but I found that eating cookies all day gets old after a while.

I will agree that there are other choices, but this is a great way to drop some weight easily & inexpensively after you drift above your self-imposed weight ceiling. Friends told me the lemons weren’t edible, but they weren’t too bad. Certainly the chocolate & oatmeal raisin are better, but you don’t buy these for the great taste…just be glad they taste good.
The reason I like this cookie is that it follows the fundamental weight loss theory: more small “meals” keep your metabolism humming. I add fruit & nuts to my daily diet when eating these cookies, and the weight falls off at a good clip. So let your upper limit weight, buy some of these, and use them when you drift up, or if you want to build in some margin.
As for cost, you are having them in lieu of breakfast or lunch, so this diet may actually save you money as well! I did buy several variety packs on Amazon, on sale, but at the normal $19.18 per box price, you may be better off buying directly from Hollywood Cookie. Good luck all.
