I am currently dont have any medical insurance because I am still young and healthy so it will save me lots of money.
However, would medical insurance cost more if I was old? If so how much?

If you have corporate medical insurance through your employer, it will not cost more due to your age. But individual insurance is age based and much more expensive as you age.
Even young and healthy people can have accidents. My young niece is suffering terribly because she had an accident and had to have knee surgery. She had health insurance, but it didn’t cover everything.
Get insurance ASAP.

Yes, there is a correlation between age and the cost of medical insurance.
The underwriters of insurance policies factor in the likelihood of pre existing conditions which are more frequent as one gets older, family history of disease, and the cost of treatment for certain age brackets.

Age can make it costly but also if you are young and have a medical problem your insurance can be higher than the elder healthy person.. When applying for medical insurance outside of your job, they ask for medical history..
Otherwise if you are signing up for the one your job offers then it is stated per person and whether family…So adding more family members will bring up the insurance..
