I have medical insurance (HMO) and I recently denied taking Medical while cbuying Auto Insurance…
My question is what happens when I met with an accident? Will my Medical insurance covers? My basic understanding is that medical insurance is only if we are sick?

~~Your insurance would cover you, but your personal medical insurance would not cover injuries for any passengers who were injured.
To prevent being sued, either cover you passengers for medical or never dry with anyone else in your car.~~

Some states, require you to carry medical on your auto policy. Some states, your health insurer isn’t required to pay for any injuries that happen, in/around a car.
So, we have no idea what state you are in. You need to talk to your auto agent and your health carrier, to see how the laws apply in your state.

You need to call your medical insurance provider and make sure that an accident would be covered…if not you NEED medical on your auto insurance policy…or you’ll be overloaded w/hospital bills that you’ll probably be paying for your whole life.
