Did Obama Really Ask That The Military Troops Pay For Their Own Medical Insurance?

I got an e-mail that he asked that the military personnel have to pay their own medical insurance, and could not understand why people got all upset, they are a volunteer force. Did he really? (And how does that make you feel?)

    In a way, yes. He has proposed reductions in the medical benefits for the military AND their dependents. Sort of like you boss telling you he will provide insurance for you the employee, but if your want you family covered you have to pay extra.
    In one way of thinking, it seems O.K., but when you consider that these are the family’s of men and women that are risking their lives for the US and that IF they are killed, the family gets a very, very small payment to cover burial, and expenses, as compared to the World Trade Center victims families who received MILLIONS…The idea of cutting th benefits SUCK…
    If people making hundreds of thousand of dollars can get millions in compensation, the people risking all for a few thousand bucks every year for them, they should get at least the same consideration…
    DON’T Cut the benefits to our soldiers….Mr. Community park planner….
